Grant for Food Retailers in Food-Insecure Communities

Provides direct grants to eligible food retailers to expand access to healthy and fresh foods in Maryland communities experiencing food insecurity. Funding supports equipment purchases, facility upgrades, SNAP/EBT infrastructure, vehicle purchases for fresh food delivery, and other capital needs related to healthy food access. Both for-profit and nonprofit food retailers operating in areas with high Fresh Food Gap Scores are eligible.
