• Grant award of up to $5,000
• Full award paid upon receipt of a payment request
• Promotion of grant-funded events on Indiana Humanities website and social media
• Opportunity to resubmit revised proposals in subsequent quarterly cycles if not funded

• Online application submitted through Indiana Humanities grants portal
• Project description including format, connection to Matters of Religion theme, and community relevance
• Audience description and expected participation numbers
• Project timeline covering planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Humanities scholars identified with résumés/CVs attached
• Line-item budget using provided template with grant funds, cash match, and in-kind match columns
• Project director résumé
• ADA compliance and accessibility plan

• Must apply on behalf of a tax-exempt organization registered with the IRS
• Also eligible: K–12 schools, colleges and universities, public libraries, churches/temples/synagogues/mosques, and government entities
• Individuals, nonregistered entities, and for-profit entities are not eligible
• Fiscal sponsorship is not permitted
• Must provide a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) through SAM.gov upon award
• Organization may not receive more than one grant in a 12-month period
• Project must demonstrate at least a 50 percent match in cash or in-kind contributions from nonfederal sources
• Project must be completed within one year of award notification
