Supports 501(c)(3) nonprofits working on environmental equity, decarbonization, and inclusive democracy across Indiana, with a priority on frontline communities, grassroots organizations, tribal governments, and rural communities. Eligible projects include voter registration and voting rights work, community convening on environmental equity, coalition-building, and technical assistance for climate-related challenges. Both single-year and multi-year awards are available.

Organizations with annual budgets under $25,000 may request up to $15,000
Organizations with annual budgets under $50,000 may request up to $30,000
Organizations with budgets above $50,000 may request up to 50% of their annual organizational budget

Must be led by Indiana communities and/or center community voice in work
Must have measurable community outcomes
For multi-year awards, must have filed a 990-tax return for at least three years previous
Focus must be on frontline communities, place-based organizations, tribal governments, rural communities, or rural governments
