• Grant funding for transformational, long-term community improvement projects
• 12-month project implementation timeline

• Online application via Kansas Commerce grants portal
• Letter of Intent (if applying through a fiscal agent)
• Project description demonstrating community vibrancy and long-term sustainability
• Quarterly progress reports during implementation
• Final report within 30 days of project completion

• Must be a currently enrolled KCE (Kansas Community Empowerment) community
• All projects must occur in a registered Kansas Community Empowerment city
• Eligible entities: county or municipal governments, economic development organizations, local chambers of commerce, 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofits, or community foundations
• Organizations outside eligible entities may apply with a contracted fiscal agent with a Letter of Intent submitted with the application
• Projects must promote community vibrancy and enhance physical or cultural assets
• Projects must result in permanent or long-term, sustainable improvements
• Projects must demonstrate how they will be sustained or maintained beyond the grant period
