About this grant

Supports grassroots events and programs celebrating LGBTQIA2S+ arts, culture, and community connection in Washington State. Designed for smaller-scale initiatives, the Spark Grant provides both cash funding and in-kind support to organizations uplifting LGBTQIA2S+ communities, with priority given to BIPOC-led, women-led, and LGBTQIA2S+-led organizations with annual budgets under $500,000.

Letter of Interest (LOI) submitted July 15 – September 1, 2026
501(c)(3) Determination Letter or Fiscal Sponsor Agreement
Most recent IRS Form 990 (three years of filings)
Project Budget using provided template
Completed W-9 form
Board of Directors list
Staff/leadership involved in the project
Community endorsements and impact statements (for grassroots groups without 501(c)(3))

Eligibility

Must be a Washington State-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or have a fiscal sponsor
Must serve the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Washington State
Grassroots groups or social collectives in Washington State that align with Seattle Pride's mission are also eligible
Priority given to organizations with annual budgets under $500,000
Priority given to organizations led by BIPOC, women, or LGBTQIA2S+ individuals
Individuals and for-profit entities are not eligible
Religious programs requiring participation in religious activities to access services are not eligible
Projects outside Washington State are not eligible
