Eligibility

Must be a 501(c)(3) public charity, private operating foundation, or fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3) entity
509(a)(3) organizations are eligible; private non-operating foundations and 501(c)(4) organizations are not eligible
Municipalities and local governmental agencies eligible for purposes not typically funded by public revenue
Religious organizations eligible only for non-religious purposes that do not seek to convert or influence religious beliefs
Resident-led groups must partner with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor
Individuals not connected to an organization or fiscal sponsor are not eligible
For-profit businesses are not eligible
Civic organizations engaging in partisan work are not eligible
