Organizations serving Montana are prioritized, though mission-aligned organizations elsewhere in the Mountain West may also be considered. Funds may be used for project support or general operating support.

Eligibility

Must be a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
Must be in good standing with the IRS and the state in which the organization is incorporated
Must demonstrate mission alignment with the Yellowstone Foundation
Must be able to use grant funds within 12 months of the award date
Must not be a private individual, for-profit entity, or government agency
Organizations serving Montana are prioritized; mission-aligned organizations elsewhere in the Mountain West may also be considered
