Grant for Nonprofits and Educational Institutions Supporting Humanities Teacher Professional Development

• Up to $460,000 in grant funding (depending on project duration: $300,000 for one week, $410,000 for two weeks, $460,000 for three weeks)
• Outright funds covering both direct and indirect costs for two consecutive summers
• Participant stipends: $1,600 (one week), $2,500 (two weeks), or $3,200 (three weeks) per participant
• Support for residential professional development programs for 25-36 K-12 educators or higher education faculty per session
• Period of performance from November 1, 2027 to December 31, 2029

• Must be a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an accredited institution of higher education (public or nonprofit), a state or local government or their agency, or a federally recognized Native American Tribal government
• Organization must be established in the United States or its jurisdictions
• Individuals and for-profit entities are ineligible
• Foreign institutions or organizations are ineligible
• Recipient may not function solely as a fiscal agent
• Fiscal sponsors applying on behalf of an ineligible organization are not eligible
• Project site must be in the United States or its jurisdictions
• Must convene the same project in two consecutive summers (2028 and 2029)
