About this grant
Supports nonprofit organizations and units of government providing out-of-school time (OST) programs for disconnected youth ages 5–17 in the Paso del Norte region. Funded programs must recruit and retain at least 100 disconnected youth, offer summer programming, incorporate the 6 Cs of Positive Youth Development, and include outdoor activities or youth-directed unstructured play. The initiative aims to help youth thrive physically, socially, and emotionally by building protective factors and reducing unhealthy behaviors.
