About this grant

Funds capital improvements and energy efficiency technology and equipment for qualifying nonprofit organizations located within or near the cooperative's service area. Projects may include improvements to lighting, HVAC systems, solar installations, energy-efficient windows, appliances, and upgraded insulation. Awards are made through a competitive scoring process funded by member contributions and cooperative support.

Eligibility

Must have 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) nonprofit status
Must provide IRS determination letter (Texas Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certification is not accepted)
Project must be located within, or in a community surrounded by, the PEC service area
Organizations that previously received funding must sit out one application cycle before reapplying
Project must involve capital improvements or energy efficiency technology and equipment
