Grant for Overdose Prevention Programs at the Public Health and Public Safety Intersection

Supports overdose prevention programs at the intersection of public health and public safety, targeting communities with people at high risk of overdose who are involved with or at risk of contact with the criminal justice system. Two award types are available: planning awards for communities developing new programming infrastructure, and implementation awards for communities with existing or ready-to-launch programs. Projects must use public health approaches, be driven by local need, and be led by or partner with community-based organizations.
