Grant for Park Development in Underserved Communities

Supports the acquisition and development of new parks and the renovation or expansion of existing parks in critically underserved and climate-vulnerable communities across California. Eligible projects include land acquisition, pre-construction design and permitting, and construction costs. Projects in economically disadvantaged communities with a lack of parks are prioritized, and community-based planning approaches are encouraged.
