Grant for Primary Care Safety Net Organizations Serving Uninsured Patients

Provides funding to primary care safety net organizations to assure access to primary and preventive care for vulnerable, underserved, and medically indigent patients in North Carolina. Organizations may choose between encounter-based reimbursement or reimbursement for eligible expenses, and funding may support dental, pharmacy, maternal, and behavioral health services when integrated with primary care. Telehealth services and equipment are eligible expenses under both tracks.
