About this grant
Funds projects that explore, develop, treat, and beneficially use brackish water to protect New Mexico's limited freshwater resources. Eligible projects span the full project lifecycle including research, feasibility assessments, design pilots, environmental documentation, and construction of brackish water treatment facilities. Projects must advance state, tribal, or local economic development goals and improve long-term water resilience.
