Grant for Vermont Nonprofits and Organizations Addressing Rural Challenges

Funds research partnerships between Vermont community organizations and the University of Vermont to address rural challenges in priority areas including regenerative agriculture, community schools, transit and housing, resilient energy systems, healthy ecosystems, rural healthcare access, and policy and governance. Two grant tracks are available: Capacity Grants for early-stage partnership development and Partnership Grants for established research projects, engagement initiatives, and business plan development. Applications are open to nonprofit and for-profit organizations, startups, local governments, and UVM faculty and staff working within Vermont.
