About this grant

Provides funding to Veteran Service Organizations and other established organizations that deliver services, programs, or assistance to veterans, military servicemembers, and their families and survivors. Awards support veteran- and military-focused programs or projects selected by the Society based on demonstrated need. Applications are accepted from organizations only, not individuals.

What you get

Grant award up to $10,000 per program/project request
Funds disbursed by December 31, 2026 (Fall 2026 cycle) or September 30, 2027 (Spring 2027 cycle)

How to apply

Completed AVHOFS Project/Program Request Form
Detailed project/program description and justification for funding amount
Detailed project/program budget (PDF, Word, or Excel)
Certificate of Good Standing from the Arizona Corporation Commission
Description of other funding secured or requested for the project
Staffing requirements description
Optional: up to three additional supporting documents (letters of support, program descriptions, etc.)

Eligibility

Must be an organization (not an individual) providing services to Arizona veterans, military servicemembers, or their families and survivors
Must be legally registered in Arizona and in good standing with the Arizona Corporation Commission
Must have a valid Tax ID Number (EIN)
Must be a Veteran Service Organization or other established organization with veteran/military-focused programs
Organizations may not apply more than once per calendar year
Must provide a W-9 prior to disbursement of funds if selected
