Grant for Youth Conservation and Natural Resources Nonprofits

• Grant awards typically between $1,000 and $10,000
• Organization may receive full funding, partial funding, or be denied funding
• Additional conditions may be attached to funding approval in some cases

• Online application via Grant Portal
• Project description addressing a wildlife or natural resource conservation issue relevant to Wyoming
• Description of youth engagement in planning, learning, or stewardship
• Measurable outcomes and plan for lasting impact
• Final report if previously funded

• Open to public schools, youth organizations, and nonprofit organizations
• Nonprofit organizations must be exempt from federal taxation under Section 501(c)(3)
• Public/governmental agencies and other exempt organizations may apply on occasion if they engage Wyoming youth in science-based conservation and natural resource education
• One application per organization per grant deadline
• If previously funded, a final report must be submitted before submitting a new grant request
