Grant for Youth-Serving Community Organizations

• Up to $1,500 grant award
• Funding disbursed upon proof of program expenditures and completion report
• Notification of funding status within 2–3 weeks of submission

• 501(c)(3) determination letter or IRS Not-For-Profit status letter
• Grant Information Checklist (PDF) items
• Program/project completion report (post-award)
• Proof of program/project expenditures (post-award)

• Must be a community-based/volunteer organization (municipalities, public or private schools are not eligible)
• Must provide a 501(c)(3) or IRS Letter stating Not-For-Profit status
• Program/project must be NEW — previously conducted programs are not eligible
• Program/project must take place between January 1st and December 31st of the current calendar year
• Program/project must be located in Chemung County and benefit Chemung County youth
• Grants cannot be used to pay past debts, salaries, stipends, utilities, rent, major equipment, or capital improvements
• Applications may only be submitted online
