About this grant

Funds public and private non-profit entities to implement evidence-informed adolescent pregnancy prevention programs in North Carolina communities. Grantees replicate approved sexuality education curricula (FLASH or 3Rs) with youth up to age 19, including establishing Community Advisory Councils and Youth Leadership Councils. The program emphasizes medically accurate reproductive health education, healthy relationships, and decision-making skills to reduce teen pregnancy rates.

Eligibility

Must be a public or private non-profit entity (e.g., school, local health department, non-profit community-based organization)
Must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued by SAM.gov
Must have at least five (5) years of experience delivering youth programs in North Carolina
For-profit agencies are not eligible
Entities currently receiving primary prevention funding for teen pregnancy prevention from NCDHHS may not apply to implement an additional primary pregnancy prevention program in the same county they currently serve
Must not be on the NC Suspension of Funding List, NC Debarred Vendors List, or Federal Exclusions List
Must be registered with NC Secretary of State
Must be registered in NC e-Procurement via NC Electronic Vendor Portal (eVP)
