About this grant

Provides funding for adaptive sports and leisure equipment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Minnesota. Recipients can use funds for specialized adaptive equipment for sports, hobbies such as art, music, or gaming, and similar leisure activities. Minnesota-based organizations serving people with I/DD are also eligible to apply for adaptive equipment for teams or events they host.

Eligibility

Must be a Minnesota resident with an intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD), OR a Minnesota-based organization serving people with I/DD
Must need adaptive (specialized) sports or leisure equipment — standard equipment is not eligible
Documentation of I/DD will be required and must be uploaded with the application
Cannot use funds for classes, travel, or vehicle upgrades
