Eligibility

Must be an Alabama-based nonprofit organization, accredited public or 501(c)(3) institution of higher education, state or local government agency, or federally recognized Native American tribal government
Projects must feature active public participation
Projects must have strong humanities content
Projects must involve direct participation of humanities scholars
Project activities cannot begin until at least 45 days after the application deadline
