About this grant

Enables counties, cities, villages, and nonprofit Community Betterment Organizations to receive certification for community development projects or programs. Once certified, the organization can notify donors that their contributions are eligible for a 40% state tax credit. The program supports community assistance and services in designated community development areas.

What you get

40% state tax credit distributed to donors of certified projects or programs
Up to $50,000 in tax credits per project or program per fiscal year
12-month period during which donations may be eligible for tax credits upon entering agreement with DED

Electronic application submitted through DED's grant management system (EUNA Grants)

Eligibility

Must be a county, city, village, or non-profit Community Betterment Organization
Must provide community assistance or community services in a community development area
Must apply for CDAA project or program certification through DED
Must operate within Nebraska
