About this grant

Supports Dane County-based community groups and nonprofits working to address systemic racial inequities in health, education, employment, and criminal justice. The program has a preference for proposals that address issues identified by the Criminal Justice Workgroup Recommendations. Individual organizations and collaborative partnerships are both eligible to apply.

Up to $15,000 for individual organizations
Up to $50,000 for partnerships or collaborations of two or more eligible organizations

Eligibility

Must be a Dane County-based community group or nonprofit
Must have a Federal Tax ID number
Must be working to address systemic racial inequities in health, education, employment, or criminal justice
Previous awardees must show evidence of project completion and satisfactory progress
Individual organizations may apply for up to $15,000
Partnerships or collaborations of two or more eligible organizations may apply for up to $50,000
