About this grant

Supports new or continuing projects that advance the goals of the Grand Canyon Synod Strategic Plan. Eligible recipients include organized congregations, Synodically Authorized Worshipping Communities, Synodically Authorized Outreach Ministries, and Strategic Ministries of the Grand Canyon Synod. Projects demonstrating innovation and collaboration with other ELCA ministries receive priority consideration.

Eligibility

Must be an organized congregation, Synodically Authorized Worshipping Community, Synodically Authorized Outreach Ministry, or Strategic Ministry of the Grand Canyon Synod
Project must advance one, two, or three goals of the Grand Canyon Synod Strategic Plan
Must submit a Statement of Financial Position for the applying congregation or organization
Congregations must provide the amount of mission support given to the Grand Canyon Synod last year or currently pledged
Application must be completed in full — missing information will affect the proposal's score
Application must be submitted by midnight on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026 — late applications will not be accepted
