About this grant

Supports specific new or continuing projects that align with the Grand Canyon Synod Strategic Plan goals. Eligible projects may include educational materials, capital equipment, scholarship support, worship materials, and other ministry-related expenses. Priority is given to innovative new projects and those that propose collaboration with another ELCA ministry.

Grant award up to $15,000
One-time payment in February 2027 or quarterly payments in February, May, August, and November 2027

Amount of congregation's mission support to the Grand Canyon Synod last year or currently pledged (if a congregation)

Eligibility

Must be an organized congregation, a Synodically Authorized Worshipping Community (SAWC), Synodically Authorized Outreach Ministry (SAOM), or a Strategic Ministry of the Grand Canyon Synod
Application must be accompanied by a Statement of Financial Position for the applying congregation/organization
If a congregation, must provide the amount of mission support to the Grand Canyon Synod last year or currently pledged
Project must serve one, two, or three of the Grand Canyon Synod Strategic Plan goals
