About this grant

Awards grants to nonprofit organizations working to enhance the health and wellness of LGBTQ+ individuals in the San Francisco Bay Area. Priority is given to organizations serving vulnerable populations including LGBTQ+ adolescents, seniors, individuals facing legal or immigration challenges, and those experiencing mental health or substance use concerns. The program also welcomes applications addressing emerging or persistent gaps in LGBTQ+ health access and affirming care.

Description of project, program, or service benefiting LGBTQ+ health and wellness
Written follow-up form due within 6 months of receiving funds

Eligibility

Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency
Must propose funding for a project, program, or service that directly contributes to the health and wellness of the LGBTQ+ community
Must be located within one or more of the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area, or demonstrate that 100% of requested grant funds will directly benefit individuals residing in the nine Bay Area counties
Must use awarded funds only for activities that benefit LGBTQ+ health and wellness
Must allocate no more than 15% of awarded grant funds to administrative costs including salaries, rent, utilities, insurance, or other general operating expenses
Capital campaigns, laboratory research, and individual medical expenses are not funded
