Grant for Nonprofits in Rural Appalachian Communities

Supports nonprofits and eligible partners working in Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey counties through two grant tracks: Disaster Recovery & Resilience Grants addressing Hurricane Helene impacts and long-term recovery, and Community Impact Grants for work improving health and well-being across the region. Funding may be used for programs, projects, general operating support, staff, operations, infrastructure, and organizational capacity building.
