About this grant

Supports community and not-for-profit organizations running senior care projects and healthy aging initiatives in the Peterborough area. Funding can be used as seed money for new projects or as financial support for existing programs addressing needs such as nutrition, mental health, physical activity, equipment, and research. Priority is given to projects with lasting community impact that improve quality of life for seniors.

Eligibility

Must be a not-for-profit charitable organization with a charitable registration number
Must be located in and/or serving the City or County of Peterborough, Hiawatha First Nation, or Curve Lake First Nation
Project must be general in scope, inclusive of and impactful on as many people as possible
Project completion must occur within one year of approval unless extension is granted
Project timeline and budget must be provided
