Grant for Nonprofits Supporting Arts Programs for Older Adults

• Grant award up to $6,000 (average award $4,000)
• Funding for skill-based arts instruction and social engagement for older adults
• Grant period January 5, 2027 – August 31, 2027

• Online application via VAC grant portal
• Documentation of agreement with teaching artist or arts organization (scope of work, fees, materials, timeline)
• If artist is not on VAC roster: documents outlining artistry, teaching experience, and collaboration experience
• Unique Entity ID (UEI)
• Grant portal user account

• Must be a nonprofit organization, municipality, or educational institution
• Projects must serve older adults aged 60+
• Projects must be led by experienced teaching artists
• Organization must have or obtain a Unique Entity ID (UEI)
• Must have or create a user account in the VAC grant portal
